Articles and optional email updates
Articles can be read without creating an account or subscribing. If you choose email updates, the details you provide are used to deliver those updates and manage your subscription.
Email signup is separate from the contact form. You can opt out of email updates at any time using the unsubscribe option or by contacting us. We retain your unsubscribe preference when the delivery provider changes.
Who we are
This website is operated by Vox Dei (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa. References to “Vox Dei”, “we”, “us” and “our” in this privacy policy mean that company.
Information you provide
The contact form asks for your name, email address, optional organisation, enquiry type and a message. We use these details to understand your request, respond and discuss any engagement you choose to pursue.
Providing an enquiry is voluntary. The name, email and message fields are needed to use the form. You can also contact us by email.
This website does not collect card payments or provide a file-upload service. Billing and project information exchanged during an engagement is handled under the applicable agreement.
Form delivery and verification
We use Web3Forms to process and deliver contact submissions. The submitted details pass through its service and email-delivery infrastructure.
The contact page uses hCaptcha to help prevent automated abuse. It may process technical and interaction information, including network and browser information, for verification. This security function is separate from optional website analytics.
These providers may process information outside your country. Their privacy information explains their processing and service-provider arrangements.
Optional analytics and browser storage
Vercel Web Analytics is loaded only after you accept optional analytics. It provides statistics about website use. Vercel describes this analytics service as cookie-free.
We store your analytics choice in your browser’s local storage. Declining analytics does not prevent ordinary browsing or contact-form verification. You can change your choice from the footer or here:
How information is used and shared
We use enquiry details to respond, assess the work or specialist support requested, and keep relevant business correspondence. Hosting, form delivery, email and security providers process information needed to support those functions. Optional analytics helps us understand use of the website.
Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to email updates. Email updates have a separate signup process.
We do not sell enquiry information. Information may also need to be disclosed where required by applicable law.
Retention and your requests
Records connected to an enquiry or engagement may need to be kept for business, contractual, accounting or legal reasons. You can ask what information we hold, how it is used, and about access, correction or deletion. Available rights and any limits depend on applicable law.
To make a privacy request, email admin@voxdei.io. We may need to verify that a request relates to your information before acting on it.
If a concern remains unresolved, you can contact the relevant data-protection authority. In South Africa, that is the Information Regulator.
Other websites and updates
Client websites, owned ventures and other linked services may have different privacy notices. This notice describes this website and its articles; it does not replace those services’ terms or privacy information.
We update this notice when the website’s processing changes. The date above identifies the latest revision.
